Terms of Use

These terms govern your use of ovati.io, the Ovati mobile app and related services. By creating an account or using Ovati, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

Eligibility and family profiles

You must be legally capable of agreeing to these terms under the law where you live. If local law requires parent or guardian involvement, you may use Ovati only with that involvement. An adult account holder may create family profiles for minors or other people only when they have appropriate authority or permission.

Spiritual and informational use

Ovati provides devotional tools, cultural information, astronomical and Vedic astrology calculations, numerology and reflective guidance. Astrology and generated interpretations involve traditions, judgment and uncertainty. Results are not guarantees and should not be the sole basis for consequential decisions.

Ovati is not medical, mental-health, legal, financial, relationship, emergency or crisis advice. Seek an appropriately qualified professional for those needs and contact local emergency services when urgent help is required.

Calculations and generated guidance

Calculation quality depends on the birth date, time, place and other information supplied. You are responsible for checking those inputs. An uncertain birth time can materially affect the Ascendant, houses, Nakshatra boundaries and related guidance.

Some written guidance is generated using an AI provider around chart facts calculated by Ovati. Generated content can still be incomplete or unsuitable. Ovati may validate and constrain outputs, but you remain responsible for how you interpret and use them.

Accounts and security

You are responsible for accurate account information, keeping credentials secure and activity under your account. Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorized use. You may not access another person's account or provide family-profile information without appropriate authority.

Subscriptions

Ovati Premium subscriptions are sold through Apple or Google. The price, billing period, trial, renewal and available features are shown before purchase. Subscriptions renew unless cancelled through the relevant store before renewal. Apple or Google controls billing, payment methods, cancellation and store refunds. Use Restore Purchases in Ovati when an active entitlement is missing.

Credits

Credits unlock eligible profile-specific reports. Credit prices are shown before confirmation. Credits have no cash value, are not a currency or Premium subscription, cannot be transferred or sold, and may be promotional or earned through eligible activities. Reopening a saved report with the same material inputs should not create another charge. A different person or materially changed input may create a new report.

Acceptable use

You may not misuse Ovati, probe or bypass security, automate abusive requests, scrape or reproduce substantial content, reverse engineer except where law expressly permits, interfere with service operation, submit unlawful material, impersonate another person, or use Ovati to harm, deceive or exploit anyone.

Ovati content and license

Ovati and its software, design, text, artwork, reports, trademarks and other content are owned by or licensed to Ovati. We grant you a limited, personal, revocable, non-exclusive and non-transferable right to use the service in accordance with these terms. No ownership rights are transferred to you.

Third-party services

Ovati depends on services provided by Supabase, Anthropic, RevenueCat, Apple, Google, Vercel and others. Their terms may apply to their parts of the experience. Ovati is not responsible for third-party services outside our reasonable control.

Availability and changes

Features, calculations, prices and availability may change as Ovati improves. We may suspend or limit access for maintenance, security, misuse, legal compliance or protection of users. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability.

Account deletion and termination

You can delete your account in the app or follow the process on our account-deletion page. Deleting an account does not automatically cancel an Apple or Google subscription. We may suspend or terminate access for a serious or repeated breach of these terms.

Disclaimers and responsibility

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Ovati is provided on an “as available” basis without guarantees about a particular spiritual, personal, relationship, health or financial outcome. Nothing in these terms excludes consumer rights or liability that cannot legally be excluded.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Ovati is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss arising from reliance on spiritual guidance, service interruption or third-party services. This limitation does not apply where prohibited by law.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms. Material changes will apply prospectively after reasonable notice where required. If any provision is unenforceable, the remaining terms continue.
